Cookie Dough Truffles Recipe

Ingredients

  • For the Truffles:
  • 80g vegan butter
  • 30g brown sugar
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Nature’s Charm evaporated Oat Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Nature’s Charm salted caramel sauce
  • ¼ fine table salt
  • 80 dairy free chocolate (chopped)
  • 170g all purpose flour
  • To coat:
  • 100g dairy free chocolate (chopped)

Instructions

  • Heat treat the flour to get rid of any bacteria by spreading it onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake at 180C for at least 5 minutes.
  • Cream together the butter, sugars, Nature’s Charm evaporated oat milk, caramel sauce and salt.
  • Add the flour and mix to combine.
  • Fold in the chocolate.
  • Rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes. This will make the dough easier to work with and less sticky.
  • Roll the dough into balls of preferred size and place in the fridge.
  • Melt 100g of the chocolate for coating. Either cover or drizzle the cookie dough balls with the chocolate. Place back into the fridge to set.
  • Serve right away or keep in sealed container in the fridge.
