Salt and Chilli Calamari Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 can Nature’s Charm Vegan Calamari
- Vegetable Oil
- Dry ingredients:
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp ground coriander
- Wet ingredients:
- 1 cup Nature’s Charm evaporated oat milk
- Garnish:
- Spring onion
- Fresh chilli
- Lemon
Instructions
- Take 2 shallow dishes, 1 for the wet ingredients and 1 for the dry.
- Heat a fry pan on the stove with vegetable oil and prepare a paper towel on a plate.
- Drain the vegan calamari and piece by piece, fold into the flour, before dipping in to the wet mix.
- Fry on high, turning once golden and crispy.
- Place on paper towel while you prepare the garnishes. Thinly slice spring onion and chilli.
- Plate with a generous amount of spring onion, dollops of vegan garlic aioli, and a slice of zesty lemon and hot chillis.
