Salt and Chilli Calamari Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can Nature’s Charm Vegan Calamari
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Dry ingredients:
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • Wet ingredients:
  • 1 cup Nature’s Charm evaporated oat milk
  • Garnish:
  • Spring onion
  • Fresh chilli
  • Lemon

Instructions

  • Take 2 shallow dishes, 1 for the wet ingredients and 1 for the dry.
  • Heat a fry pan on the stove with vegetable oil and prepare a paper towel on a plate.
  • Drain the vegan calamari and piece by piece, fold into the flour, before dipping in to the wet mix.
  • Fry on high, turning once golden and crispy.
  • Place on paper towel while you prepare the garnishes. Thinly slice spring onion and chilli.
  • Plate with a generous amount of spring onion, dollops of vegan garlic aioli, and a slice of zesty lemon and hot chillis.
